In addition, please keep in mind that home security alarm systems are only effective if they are activated. So many people have a tendency to inadequately secure their home during working hours because they feel like nothing would happen in broad daylight. The fact is that most home invasions occur during the day for the very reason that most people are at work so the chance of being noticed is actually reduced during the day.
